Western New Yorkers know that one of the best ways to burn off those Thanksgiving calories is to dance the night away at the World's Largest Disco. The event will be celebrating it 21st anniversary tonight as the music pulses and the mirror balls spin beginning at 9 tonight at the Buffalo Convention Center. The charity bash, which benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, dates back to 1994, but organizer Dave Pietrowski  states the initial party came much sooner than that.

"It was started in 1979. And in 1979, this was the real World's Largest Disco, and people came from all over during the disco craze to celebrate an event, which is one of the first events ever held at the Buffalo Convention Center," said Pietrowksi.

This year's dance will feature music by Tavares as well as appearances by Henry Winkler, better known as Fonzi, Cindy Williams from "Laverne and Shirley" fame and Lorenzo Lamas, who played Olivia Newton-John's boyfriend in the movie "Grease."

Saturday & Sunday 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
