The National Weather Service is now reporting as much as four feet of snow in an area stretching from Lackawanna to West Seneca and Lancaster. (See rest of story for more photos.)

Weather Service Meteorlogist Dave Thomas says about three feet has accumulated in Alden with parts of Orchard Park also being hit hard and snow totaling approximately two-and-one-half feet in Hamburg.

The snow is expected to move south into ski country later today.  Another Lake Effect band of snow is expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
