WBFO News photo by Eileen Buckley

While the focus on Canisius High School's firing of its' Dean and disciplinary action against one of its top football players continues, the Crusaders pulled out a 62-19 win over Saint Francis High school at Ralph Wilson Stadium last night.

The victory came without senior linebacker/fullback Brad Zaffram, who was banned from participating as part of a disciplinary action.

Meanwhile, there's apetition circulating online  calling for "the reinstatement of Beck O'Connor as Dean of Students and the reevaluation of Father Joseph Costantino's position as the President of Canisius High School."

School trustees are reportedly discussing how to proceed further as the story appears to be gaining national attention.

The Canisius football team remains undefeated at 10-0 this season and advances to the league championship game next Thursday.  They will face Bishop Timon/St. Jude at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Canisius is looking for its third straight Monsignor Martin League title.
