Election 2014: Races, Governor & NYS Senate seat

Voters have been casting their ballots for Election Day 2014. Polls across the region will close at 9 p.m. Tuesday. 

WBFO News will provide comprehensive coverage.  WBFO Program Host Mark Scott will kick off our Election 2014 coverage after 8 p.m. will a recap of what's ahead.  We will provide coverage of the nationwide races with coverage from NPR.

Starting at 9 p.m. listen for both local and national coverage.  WBFO's News Director Brian Meyer will be joining Mark Scott in studio for live election results once the polls close at 9 p.m.  They will provided up-to-date percentages from all the key local races. 

WBFO Senior Reporter Eileen Buckley will be reporting live from the Erie County Democratic Committee's Election Night Party from the 8th floor of the Larkin Commerce Building on Seneca Street in Buffalo. 

WBFO News Reporter Chris Caya will be providing live updates from the Erie County Republican Committee at the Avant Building on Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo.

Listen for updates and reports on the New York State Governor's race. WBFO'S Albany Correspondent Karen DeWitt will be following results with incumbent Governor Andrew Cuomo. Innovation Trail reporter Jenna Flanagan will be keeping watch on the Republican opponent, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.
