The Buffalo Police Underwater Recovery Team was called to search the Buffalo River near Cazenovia Creek this morning, in connection with the search for a missing man. After a passerby discovered the jacket and wallet of 51-year-old Timothy A. Borden, police dispatched divers into the water near the Bailey Avenue Bridge in South Buffalo.

Police say Borden has been missing since approximately 10:30pm Friday night.  Borden is a black male, six feet tall, weighing 140 pounds.  He was last seen wearing black sweat pants and a black hoodie.  His family says he suffers from a medical condition.  Patrol officers continue to search for Borden at this time, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Buffalo police immediately.
