Movie shoot in Lockport today

Facebook Page: Where Heaven and Hell Collide

Niagara County Sheriff Officials are advising Lockport residents they might be in for a loud day. The LaFarge Stone Quarry will be the site of a movie shoot today.

The shoot is for a military movie, reportedly called "Where Heaven and Hell Collide." The film is said to be based on the true story of a man named Jim Peters, whose company "T-shirts 4 Troops" has helped injured combat troops. It will examine the struggles, heroics and lives of four combat soldiers.

Filming will begin approximately 2 p.m. and continue until about 3 a.m.

Since this is a military movie, officials warn there is a strong possibility of military vehicles, simulated gunfire and small explosions while filming.

Authorities contend there will be no danger to anyone in the surrounding area. They say all special effects are being conducted by trained professionals using props.
