WBFO News

A Clarence farm is the latest in a disturbing trend of rural burglaries. The Maple Row Farm was hit by a pair of thieves who loaded a dark-colored Chevrolet pick up truck with thousands of dollars worth of tools and materials. Erie County Sheriff's detectives are recognizing a rise in thefts at such rural and secluded locations. The thieves are likely planning to fence the goods on local streets.

This latest heist was caught on security cameras. One of the thieves was wearing a sweatshirt bearing a Letchworth logo.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's office at 544 - 4806.
