Warnings are being issued to anyone who is planning to participate in this year's Dirty Girl Mud Run. The Better Business Bureau is cautioning that the organization behind the event has left runners in some cities high and dry after canceling runs at the last minute and failing to provide refunds. The BBB encourages runners to fully understand the terms of the event and to use a credit card for payment, so that some recourse is possible.
The popular event is locally scheduled for September, and proceeds help with breast cancer awareness.
