Area law enforcement officials believe they have arrested four people responsible for a rash of burglaries at churches in Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties. Ranging from 18 to 20-years-old, the four individuals, three men and one woman, have been charged with an assortment of crimes including burglary, conspiracy and grand larceny. They are charged with robbing eight churches over a three-day period and stealing safes, cash and musical instruments.
Those charged are:
-Thomas Archer, 18, of Machias
-Christopher Rose, 18, of Machias
-Danae Chiarilli, 18, of Cuba, NY
-Christopher Boilard, 20, of Franklinville
The defendants were arraigned and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
