The active search for a missing boater has been called off. Lewiston resident John Supple launched his 16 foot boat on Lake Ontario Wednesday. Coast Guards from the US and Canada have searched more than 5,000 square miles of the lake with no success in finding Supple, who was reported missing on Thursday.
