An early morning blaze has destroyed an abandoned East Side house. Firefighters responded to the call of a fire at the corner of Michigan and Glenwood Avenues in the one o'clock hour this morning. The fire fully engulfed the structure, which could not be saved. Fire officials claim that low water pressure at the site was an issue, though neighboring structures were protected.
Investigators are combing the site to determine the cause of the fire.
