March Madness means fevered excitement for basketball fans, but it has become an ailment of sorts for Syracuse followers this year. The Orange were bounced from the NCAA Tournament in a stunning upset by the Dayton Flyers, 55 - 53. As the score would indicate, Syracuse never got their offense on track, making none of the 10 shots the team attempted from 3-point range.

The Orange were a prohibitive favorite coming into the game and had what seemed a home court advantage with a majority of fans at the First Niagara Center rooting them on.

As Syracuse heads for home, Dayton will take their Cinderella run to Memphis for South Regional play.
