IBM plans to create 500 jobs in Buffalo

Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to provide details Monday of a plan that would bring 500 jobs to the Buffalo.

The Buffalo News reports that IBM will create the jobs at a new, state-owned computer technology information center at  an undetermined downtown location.

The state is reportedly offering $55 million to IBM to bring the effort to Buffalo.

The governor is scheduled to speak in Amherst at 1:45 pm at the Classics V Banquet Facility on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
