U.S. Labor Secretary talks exclusively with WBFO on minimum wage & jobs

President Obama has called for an executive order to raise the minimum wage for workers under new federal contracts.  The wage would rise from $7.25 an hour to $10.10 an hour.  In an exclusive WBFO News interview with Eileen Buckley,  U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez  talked about the wage increase and jobs. 

Perez is a Buffalo native of Buffalo and 1979 graduate of Canisius High School. 

Perez said the President's executive order is an to encourage a possible overall minimum wage hike for all workers.
