WBFO News

The Winter Storm Warning for Western New York has been canceled but has been replaced by a Winter Weather Advisory, which will remain in effect until 11 tonight. Temporary relief from the arctic cold will bring highs today reaching into the mid-20's. But that relief will not last long. A Wind Chill Advisory will take effect at midnight and last until noon on Sunday. Overnight temperatures could fall below zero. A code blue has been issued and warming centers will be open tonight.

Gusting winds could reach near 40 miles per hour, and snow accumulations are predicted to be between 2 to 4 inches today.

Blowing and drifting snow could cause difficult driving conditions throughout the day.
