WBFO News

A Flood Warning has been issued for the northern portions of Chautauqua County until 4:30 this afternoon. The National Weather Service is reporting that flooding has occurred at both Silver Creek and Walnut Creek due to ice jams. Route 60 between Fredonia and Cassadaga is closed also due to an ice jam flooding.

A Flood Watch remains in effect for all of Western New York until Sunday afternoon as rain and melting snow could cause rising waters in persistent flood plains and in areas neighboring area creeks and streams.

Saturday & Sunday 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
