The Buffalo Bills are denying a Toronto Sun report that the future of the team's regular season series at the Rogers Centre may be in doubt. The Sun reports that Bills officials will meet with Rogers Media representatives the week of January 12th. During his end-of-season news conference, Bills President and CEO Russ Brandon said the games in Toronto would be discussed and evaluated. The series began in 2008 and brings the Bills millions in additional revenue but costs them a home game at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The club is just 1 - 5 in the games at the Rogers Centre, including last month's loss to Atlanta.
High ticket prices have been blamed for lukewarm attendance in the series.
The Atlanta game drew fewer than 39,000 fans.
