Authorities say a motorist whose vehicle was hit by a train at a town of Evans railroad crossing has died.
Police say the crash happened when a westbound Norfolk Southern freight train hit his pick-up truck around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was identified late Thursday as Vincent Marrano, 44, of Angola.
An autopsy was performed Thursday.
Two crew members aboard the train weren't injured.
The cause of the collision is being investigated.
