An 18-month investigation has reportedly resulted in a multiple-count indictment against the Supervisor of the Town of Niagara. The Buffalo News, citing unnamed sources, reports that Supervisor Steven Richards will face criminal charges over the alleged misuse of town workers, materials and equipment, some of which may been used for his family's business.
Nearly one-fifth of the town's workforce, including Richards and the town's police chief, had reportedly been called to appear in front of a Grand Jury during the course of the probe.
The investigation was conducted by the State Attorney General's office and the FBI.
