Another potentially serious high school football injury has shaken a local community. Authorities are reporting that an Attica High School football player was flown by Mercy Flight to an area hospital after a game at Alexander High School Friday night. Details regarding the identity of the player, his condition or the nature of his injuries remain unavailable.
The incident comes just two weeks after Damon Janes, a player for Westfield-Brocton, died from injuries suffered in a football game.
