Niagara County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an overnight armed robbery in the Town of Wheatfield. Witnesses claim that a black male entered Matty's on Forest Parkway just before midnight, brandishing a weapon. He ordered all employees to lie on the floor while he robbed the cash register and the cigarette display.
Authorities are looking for a suspect described as 6 feet tall with a bigger build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, a baseball cap, dark pants and sneakers at the time of the robbery.
