Day Two of filming for the movie 'The American Side,' starring Matthew Broderick, continued in downtown Buffalo Tuesday.

Filming took place inside the Butler Mansion on Delaware Avenue. Film crews could be spotted in the driveway of the mansion. Sources tell WBFO News Broderick arrived Monday and will remain in Buffalo through Thursday.

Amherst resident David Cacciatore says he came downtown with his family to see if they could get a glimpse of the star actor.

"We're big Matthew Broderick fans from 'Ferris Bueller,' so I wanted to bring my daughter down to see if we could see him," Cacciatore says.

The movie, which also stars Janeane Garafalo and Tim Blake Nelson, is about one of Nikola Tesla's designs found in Buffalo 70 years after his death.
