Local authorities are investigating an illegal cache of fireworks that were discovered while battling a North Buffalo fire. A garage connected with a Condon Avenue home in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood caught fire Saturday night. A series of small explosions tipped authorities to the presence of pyrotechnic materials. This led to the discovery of a supply of consumer grade fireworks in the building. Local police, sheriff's deputies and fire personnel are investigating the scene.
No charges have been filed as yet. There were no injuries reported from the incident.
