It will be a very emotional day for current students and alumni of Holy Angels Academy today. The final senior class will be graduating from the long-standing institution. The Board of Trustees and Grey Nuns of the Sacred heart announced on Thursday that financial difficulties have forced the closure of the school. Holy Angels has been preparing future female generations for 152 years, but a multi million dollar budget shortfall was too much to overcome.
Today's final graduating ceremonies will honor 52 students.
The school is scheduled to close next month.
