WBFO News photo by Jim Ranney

Chief Justice John Roberts was born in Buffalo in 1955.  He returns to his Western New York  roots Friday with a visit to the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown.

Justice Roberts will mark the anniversary of the Jackson Center, which is named for the late Supreme Court Justice and leading advocate of American democracy.

WBFO's Jim Ranney talked with Greg Peterson, a co-founder of the center, about its mission and how Justice Roberts' visit came about.
