Drunk driver pleads guilty in crash that killed infant

File photo

A Brant woman faces up to 15 years in prison for a drunk driving crash that killed an infant.
Danielle Kellogg, 24, admitted to driving while intoxicated on Southwestern Boulevard in Brant on November 27, 2012.  Kellogg lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line, and collided with a car being driven by Denise Hine. Hine's seven-month-old daughter Baylee died in the crash.

Kellogg, of Brant Angola Road, pleaded guilty to first degree vehicular manslaughter in Erie County Court Wednesday. That is a higher charge than initially filed.

Kellogg has a previous conviction of driving while ability impaired for an incident in 2010 in Chautauqua County.

She will be sentenced May 22.
