Dunkirk Police are investigating a fatal train accident that took the life of a pedestrian early on Saturday. Reports indicate that an as yet unidentified man was struck during the three o'clock hour by a Chicago bound CSX freight train. The accident occurred near Pike Street and Woodrow Avenue. Tracks at the location were temporarily closed.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
