Fans coming into the city for the Buffalo Sabres' game this afternoon could find parking at a premium. The annual Shamrock Run takes place today, beginning at noon. A number of streets around the First Niagara Center will be closed for the run, though authorities believe that those streets will be re-opened in time for the Sabres' game. That face-off comes at 3.
Additional police officers will be directing traffic to assist with the expected congestion.
