The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans and Chautauqua counties, in effect until 4 a.m. Wednesday. Rain will will turn into snow this afternoon with windy conditions. Temperatures will be dropping through out the day. Winds are expected to gust up to 50 miles per hour Tuesday afternoon and into the evening.
Western New Yorkers can expect snow showers and blowing snow Tuesday night. Two to three inches of accumulation are possible with temperatures into the lower 20's.
The high winds could result in isolated power outages and bring down some tree limbs.
