Coach relieved of duties over bullying incident

An apparent bullying situation has led to the suspension of the Roy-Hart girls basketball coach. The incident is reported to have happened outside of the girls locker room and might have involved a special needs student. Coach Don Baker was suspended for not reporting the incident in compliance with rules established after the death of Jamey Rodemeyer, a Western new York student who committed suicide after suffering from bullying. Baker claims he was unaware of the incident and couldn't report what he didn't know.

The suspension will run for the remainder of the current season.

Saturday & Sunday 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
