The movement that has sparked the renovation of some of Buffalo's heritage architecture may be stalled by Governor Cuomo's veto pen.
According to the Buffalo News, the governor will veto Senator Mark Grisanti's bill that would have boosted the tax credits offered to developers looking to restore historic structures.
The tax credit has helped successful renovations in Buffalo, including Hotel @ the Lafayette, a project which restored a crumbling downtown eyesore.
Administration sources say the Governor may reconsider the credit when the state's next budget is compiled.
