The budget battle in Niagara Falls continues.
Mayor Paul Dyster has restored almost $4 million by vetoing cuts that have been made by the City's Council. The Council meets on Monday and are expected to overturn many of the mayor's vetoes. Most significantly, Dyster attempted to restore funding to the controversial USA Niagara Development agency. That money is not expected to be restored, but provisions to review the funding for next year could be instituted.
The Council plans a special session for Monday to review the mayor's vetoes.
