The teachers of the Sweet Home school district sit near the top of Business First's Teacher Pay Rankings of Upstate School Districts.
The publication ranked 430 upstate districts, listing Sweet Home in the fourth overall spot, the highest ranking among local districts.
The tiny Remsen district in Oneida County was first among upstate districts with a median teachers' pay of $89,000 annually.
According to Business First, no other district had a median teacher salary above $76,000.
The Williamsville district ranked eighth, Lackawanna ninth and North Tonawanda tenth.
