The suds are flowing again at the oldest continuously operated bar in Buffalo.
Ulrich's Tavern reopened Tuesday after being closed for about a month when the state tax department shut it down for not paying back taxes.
Owner Jim Daley filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August. He says he spent the past month revamping his business. Daley welcomed customers back to his place Tuesday, and plans to start serving food again starting Wednesday.
Ulrich's is considered the oldest continuously running bar in Buffalo, opening in 1868.
Daley's parents ran the business starting in the 1950s, before he bought the bar and took over in 2000.
