Press Pass: Buffalo News Suburban Editor Bruce Andriatch on Lancaster's controversial supervisor

WBFO File Photo

Lancaster Town Supervisor Dino Fudoli has proven to be quite a controversial leader since assuming office on January 1st.  He's a proponent of limiting the financial incentives granted by the region's various industrial development agencies.  Fudoli then targeted town employee unions for criticism by describing public employees as being the "unproductive" segment of the economy.  Finally, he admitted late last month that he has not paid property taxes on various properties he owns.

Also,  Williamsville South High School's legendary basketball coach Al Monaco was dismissed by Superintendent Scott Martzloff.  But there's been very little information about why that happened.

A recent poll shows Republican Chris Collins with a narrow two point lead over incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul in the race for the newly-drawn 27th congressional district.

And Fantasy Island is thriving as an alternative to higher-priced theme parks in the region.

These are our topics as WBFO and AM 970's Mark Scott sits down with Buffalo News Suburban Editor Bruce Andriatch in this week's Press Pass.
