Five people, some in their teens, have been arrested in connection with a string of robberies.
Wyoming County sheriff's deputies have broken a criminal ring that targeted Mexican migrant workers in the towns of Pike, Sheldon and Castile. The victims were lured away from their workplaces with promises of alcohol. Once the victims were intoxicated, they were beaten and robbed. The arrests included both males and females with ages ranging from 19 to 24.
Authorities claim that the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
