The city of Buffalo will hold another gun buyback program on August 18 in an effort to reduce the number of illegal weapons on city streets.
With no questions asked, residents can deliver the weapons to any of seven church locations in exchange for a pre-paid credit card.
Handguns can be exchanged for a $75 card. An assault weapon will yield $100.
City officials say the program has gathered nearly 3,000 guns since 2007.
