A dangerous situation at the Masten Pool has temporarily closed the facility even as the steamy weather continues.
Earlier this week, a lifeguard at the pool was threatened and was facing attack when other lifeguards quelled the situation and cleared the pool area. The altercation is being investigated, and the lifeguard claims to have filed a report with Buffalo Police.
The pool has been staffed with armed guards after a lifeguard was injured in an attack in 2010.
