Hundreds of unionized workers at Sorrento-Lactalis remain on strike.
Striking workers set up a picket line near the main gate to Sorrento's plant on South Park Avenue Monday morning.
The job action includes 257 hourly workers.
But the rank-and-file-members of Teamsters Local 264 declined to talk on tape; calls to union leaders were not returned.
Company officials also did not return calls seeking comment, however in a written statement Lactalis said after several months of negotiations the company's final offer included a competitive package of healthcare benefits, improved wages and other items that benefit employees.
But Lactalis said the union refused to submit the company's offer to members for a vote.
Lactalis "remains hopeful the parties can reach agreement" and the company "remains committed to its longstanding tradition of cheese making in Buffalo."
Production will be supplemented by a sister plant in Idaho.
