The 29th annual Taste of Buffalo drew thousands from Western New York and beyond to downtown on Saturday.
There were culinary delights of all kinds to suit every taste and desire. For the first time, food trucks were allowed into the festival. These traveling kitchens are becoming a very popular dining option in the city and they have been quite a draw at the festival.
Among this year's winning entries are Eddie Ryan's pot roast sandwich, earning the Chairman's Choice; Brasciole Sliders from Orazio's Restaurant won Best Overall Item; and the Mac & Cheese from Fat Bob's is this year's Children's choice.
The festival continues on Sunday from 11 am until 7 pm.
