A spate of violent weather rolled through parts of Western New York on Saturday.
Pockets of thunderstorm activity accompanied, at times, by high winds and heavy rains, struck in the mid-morning hours. Though little damage was reported in the wake of the storms, areas of Cattaraugus County and the City of Olean did report that a few trees and many large tree limbs were felled by the winds.
Significant hail showers pelted some regions as well.
