The closely watched trial of Dr. James Corasanti is approaching its end.
Closing arguments begin Tuesday morning in Erie County Court as prosecutors attempt to convince the jury that Corasanti was drunk, speeding and texting at the time his car struck and killed 18-year-old Alexandria Rice last summer.
Corasanti's counsel has called upon its own expert witnesses to counter some key evidence.
The Amherst doctor faces several charges that could result in more than 20 years in jail.
