An ongoing investigation into possible bribes paid by tow truck operators to Buffalo Police officers has gained greater gravity after a death last week.
Tow Truck driver Corddaryl Henley was shot in what is believed to have been a conflict over a towing job. The News reports that a select few tow operators seem to have a preference with police, and Henley was breaching that system.
The FBI is joining the probe.
The city is reviewing its ordinances for towing services.
