A Thursday vote in the Erie County Legislature is re-igniting debate over the location of a planned $30 million education building.
While lawmakers voted to set aside $7.5 million for the new construction, it did little to settle the squabble over whether the new building should be built at ECC North or ECC City.
The project was originally intended for North, a campus sorely in need of capital improvements.
City advocates argue the construction would be better downtown, with a closer proximity to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
