The Department of Defense has confirmed that a Sailor from Western New York has been killed in Afghanistan.
Navy Lieutenant Christopher Mosko, a 28 year old Pittsford resident, was killed during a bomb attack in the Ghazni Province.
Mosko had been stationed in San Diego and was commanding an explosives disposal platoon in the eastern part of Afghanistan.
