Buffalo, NY – Visit Buffalo Niagara continues moving forward with its "Buffalo. For Real TV" Webisode series.

As WBFO'S Eileen Buckley tells us, the agency released its latest video about Allentown First Fridays.

This latest video to promote area tourism features Buffalo musician Nelson Starr displaying an upbeat Allentown District.

The new video delivers a hipper side of the city.

But when Visit Buffalo Niagara initially launched the Buffalo.ForReal campaign, it received some sharp criticism. Some Western New Yorkers and even ex-patriots thought the video views of the city's rich architecture and tradition failed to provide a newer view of the Queen City.

Dottie Gallagher-Cohen is President and CEO of Visit Buffalo Niagara. She said what many don't realize is out-of-town cultural tourist are searching for exactly what Buffalo has to offer and are ready to spend their money.

The Buffalo.ForReal TV Webisodes have already promoted Buffalo's beer scene and Erie Canal Harbor. This past weekend, a new video was being produced about tailgating at the Buffalo Bills games.
