Lucille Clifton Returns to Buffalo for Benefit Reading

One of Western New York's most acclaimed writers returns home to Buffalo Friday night. Internationally known, award winning poet Lucille Clifton is the special guest of the Locust Street Art Center. Clifton will offer a reading and share memories of her early years growing up on Buffalo's East Side.

Buffalo, NY – One of Western New York's most acclaimed writers returns home to Buffalo Friday night. Internationally known, award winning poet Lucille Clifton is the special guest of the Locust Street Art Center. Clifton will offer a reading and share memories of her early years growing up on Buffalo's East Side.

National Book Award Winner, and Buffalo native, Lucille Clifton will be reading from her newest book of poetry titled, Mercy, Friday night in honor the 45th anniversary of the Locust Street Art Center. The reading is at 7 o'clock in the Roswell Park auditorium.
