More public entities are easing their mask requirements.

Effective Saturday, masks will be optional on University at Buffalo campuses, a measure that includes students, faculty, staff and visitors regardless of vaccination status.

Masks will still be required for those using UB buses and shuttles and for clinical healthcare settings on campus. Additionally, mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing will continue for unvaccinated students faculty and staff members.
Updated information is available online at UB's COVID-19 Planning and Response site.

Also, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has announced that masks will be strongly encouraged, but no longer required, for those attending performances at Kleinhans Music Hall, although proof of vaccination will still be necessary.

Masks and full vaccination will still be required for all staff, volunteers and security at BPO concerts.

Shea's Performing Arts Center also announced a similar policy to the BPO for its downtown Buffalo theater performances.
