Free rapid COVID-19 testing is now available on a regular basis at the Doris W. Jones Family Resource Building in Niagara Falls.

The Niagara County Department of Health announced free rapid COVID-19 testing is now available three times a week in Niagara Falls.

Testing will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9 a.m.-noon at the Doris Jones Family Resource Center, 3001 Ninth St.

A rapid antigen test is performed using a nasal swab, and results are available after 15 minutes. Health officials said testing should be done five days after exposure to someone with a confirmed COVID case.

The clinic is being hosted in partnership with the Niagara Falls Housing Authority and serves an area of the city with continued high rates of COVID-19 infection.

There is no cost for testing and health information information is not required. Walk-ins are welcomed, although appointments are preferred.

Online registration is available at https://on.ny.gov/3J3TiD0 or onsite upon arrival.
