Walden Galleria will soon be the site of a public COVID-19 pop-up testing and vaccination clinic.
Officials at the region's largest shopping center said KSL Diagnostics will be opening the public pop-up testing site at 10 a.m. Nov. 18 and it will operate during normal mall hours. It will be located in a 4,100-square-foot space on the Galleria's upper level outside of Macy's.
KSL will offer the various COVID-19 tests, including the travel RT-PCR test with 30-minute or 24-hour result times, plus the rapid antigen test. It will work in collaboration with the Erie County Department of Health to offer both initial and booster vaccinations at no charge to eligible patrons. KSL will also do insurance billing for patients if a test is medically necessary.
There are three other KSL Diagnostic testing sites open to the public with no appointment required: 28 Best St. in Buffalo, 1000 Youngs Rd. in Amherst and at the Rainbow Bridge, at First and Niagara Sts. on the New York side of Niagara Falls. KSL also operates more than 25 testing sites in area independent pharmacies and urgent care centers.
